Rob Howze – Founder / CEO
Rob Howze is a Nationally Recognized Empowerment Speaker and Entrepreneur, (www.Robhowzespeaks.com), as well as a national recording artist known as G.O.L.D (www.reverbnation.com/godsotherlivingdisciple). He is also the Founder and Executive Director of a youth centered organization called World Wide Community, (www.Worldwidecommunity.us) which was established in 2008 for the benefit of students in elementary, middle, and high school to experience various sports, athletic and academic challenges, in a positive and motivational environment.
In 2010, Rob expanded the vision with “Camp Fit”, a program/reality show designed to tackle the childhood obesity epidemic by encouraging and developing kids in the area of mind, body, and spirit. Camp Fit is currently on DirecTV and Roku which reaches over 40 million homes across the globe.
Rob has been featured on TVOne’s The Roland Martin Show, The Russ Parr Morning Show, Praise 104.1, Fresh TV, DCTV show “Dreams”, and several radio stations across the country and online. He has been a keynote speaker for several graduations and youth programs across the country. He has a true passion for motivating the youth and because he is able to meet them at their level, they really receive what he gives. Rob recognizes the struggles, challenges, and disappointments that the next generation faces, therefore his programs and presentations give solutions, alternatives, and offer fresh ways of thinking and problem solving. He uses all of his gifts and experiences for one purpose; that is to make a positive, long-lasting impact in the lives of our young people, forever.
Rob currently resides in Bowie, MD with his beautiful wife of 9 years, Nicole, and together they have 3 beautiful children, RJ, Harmony, and Melody. Rob is currently the Youth Pastor of Lifehouse Church in Laurel, MD and a part of the Worship Team. In his free time, Rob enjoys playing flag football, basketball, spending quality time with his family and friends, coaching his son in various sports, and working on music.
Ron Williams – COO
Ron is a native Washingtonian, spending the first 20 years of his life in the D.C. In 1997 Ron began his film career as an actor. He appeared in several films from 97 to 99, such as Liberty Heights, The Replacements, a John Waters’ classic: Cecil B. Demented, and HBO’s The Wire. But long before the acting track, Ron know the direction he was to go in: directing. During that time he also wrote 11 dramatic plays and worked in several television and theatre projects before making the transition to directing. In 1998, Ron started Rainbow Family Youth Dramas; writing, directed, and acted in over 20 productions with the group. In 2001, Ron wrote, directed, and produced a stage play about a troubled teen with a new lease on life after a spiritual encounter that made its way to the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC for a one week run. In 2002, he turned the stage play into Straight & Narrow, a seven part television style award-winning series. His efforts netted him his first award for television & filmmaking in 2005 for the series, as well as acclaim in several local newspapers and the Washington Post. Shortly after, He went to work on The Final Hour, his film directorial debut. The Final Hour is a 25 minute short film that deals with five friends and thier Halloween ritual gone wrong. The film won a Short Film Telly Award in 2006. Presently he has wrapped up production on his first feature film, The CrossOver, and will begin work on a documentary in the ladder part of 2010. Camp Fit marks his first television project since his award-winning series. His body of work is provided below.
Joshua Cristos – Creative Director
Joshua Cristos, is a native of Columbus, Ohio. He is currently the founder and CEO of Malak Media Group and ELOM TV. In April, 2012 Joshua and his family relocated to the Washington, DC area. Facing the challenges of this new start, Joshua rebranded his company under the name Malak Media Group (MMG). The name Malak means the messenger of GOD. MMG is a video production company, which specializes in commercial and film production. Since its inception, MMG has grown its services to cover Graphic, Web Design and development, as well as Advertising and Marketing Strategy development, to further help the growth and development of each client they serve, almost fully encompassing the media aspect of the company. As a secondary goal, Joshua is also working to fulfill not only the Media portion of MMG but also the Group, by engrafting independently owned companies that operate within the same or complimentary market as MMG. So that strength might be gained in unity. Mr. Cristos has recently launched a World Wide Christian Television Network, ELOM TV. ELOM means beloved of GOD. Its purpose is to be a resource for Christian viewers to have an alternative to secular entertainment, as well as to provide, not only an outlet, but resources and aid to Christian content producers. ELOM TV can currently be viewed on the web, Roku devices, and soon Amazon Fire TV. Mr. Cristos continues to strive to bring unity and commonality to every endeavor he takes on. Dr. Frederick J Corder, M.D. – Medical Director
Frederick J. Corder ( Pediatrician, Teacher, Community Activists ) is a 1977 graduate of Howard University College of Medicine. Dr. Corder served in many leadership roles in the Student National Medical Association on a local and national level. He worked with the student health service and served as a resident intern for two years in the University’s largest dormitory. Dr. Corder completed his residency in Pediatrics at Howard University Hospital. He served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics in his third year of training. Dr. Corder after working for one year in Baltimore City at the Provident Druid Neighborhood Clinic went into private practice in Prince George’s County in 1981. He is the first board certified Black pediatrician in Prince George’s County.
In 1987, Dr. Frederick Corder became Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Prince George’s County Medical Center. This hospital has the only independent pediatric unit in Prince George’s County. During his tenure at Prince George’s Medical Center, Dr. Corder has trained medical students from Howard University Hospital, Ross University and other allied health students who rotated through Prince George’s Medical Center. Dr. Corder established the Nighlight Pediatric Emergency Program at the Bowie Health Center in 1998. The program served children from three counties and was a banner project for the parent company, Dimension’s Healthcare.
Dr. Frederick Corder has also served on the medical staff of Greater Southeast Medical Center since 1985. He served as a clinical instructor for the pediatric rotation of residents from Howard University Hospital. This program covered the nursery and ward services of the hospital.
Dr. Frederick Corder was selected to be the first Black Chief Medical Officer at the Prince George’s County Health Department form October 2002 to November 2004. During this time, he served on the Homeland Security Committees and the Health Council Committees. Dr. Corder was instrumental in bringing over 14 million dollars in funds to the County to assist in emergency preparedness.
Dr. Frederick Corder’s work in the community is extensive, from teaching to providing service in the community hospitals, but his latest project has been the development of the Corder Pounders Fitness Program. This is a program aimed at working with families and children to combat childhood obesity. The program consists of evening workshops in his office, school and community programs and a summer camp. Dr. Corder and his daughter, Adrienne Corder are working to expand the program and change the tide of obesity and its consequences on the community.
Dr. Frederick Corder is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of The National Medical Association, Howard University Hospital Residency Association, and Howard University Alumni Association. Dr. Corder is the chairman of the board for the Howard University Hospital Residency Association. He has served in executive positions in several professional and social organizations.
Lesha Young – Producer
Lesha Young received her Associates of Arts degree in General Studies from Montgomery College in 1998 and later received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology in 2008. She is currently completing her Mater’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Bowie State University and will graduate in 2008. She has been afforded the opportunity to fulfill her goals and dreams by working in the school system for the past eight years. Prior to working in the school system she utilized her background in psychology to counsel troubled youth. Dealing with children and helping them to accomplish their goals and overcome life hurdles is one of the ways she serves the Lord and feels a sense of fulfillment. During the journey as a teacher she was appointed Team leader for three consecutive years. The responsibilities entailed implementing the curriculum and developing programs to enhance teacher and student morale. In the classroom she specialized in Language Arts instruction, Science, and Social Studies. Creating lessons to engage the children and motivate them by tapping into their different learning styles. She was recognized for her creativity and ability to engage the students from the Senate of Maryland by receiving the ACE Award (Outstanding Commitment to Excellence) in 2003. In 2003 also obtained an award from her principal for the most creative teacher. She is presently the Special Education Department Chair for Greenbelt Middle School. In 2008 she was recognized by the Special Education Department for Region II as an exceptional leader in Prince George’s County and given the opportunity to become A Rising Star. Most of all she is thankful to God for making her a vessel to make a positive difference in the lives of disabled/non-disabled children.
Alemnesh Allen – Administrative Director
Alemnesh Wubishet Allen demonstrates her commitment to children through her classroom work as a Special Educator in Prince George’s County, MD. Graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Bowie State University in 2004, she is equipped with skills in media management and production. She has used this training to communicate to children, while utilizing more effective ways in learning. She has been working with children throughout the D.C. Metropolitan area since 2000. As a core team member for “Camp Fit”, Alemnesh is striving to make a positive impact on people’s lives. She advocates for children and young adults whenever and wherever she gets a chance. She promotes healthy and active lifestyles while educating youth on how to become productive members of society. Alemnesh incorporates her communications background as well as her experience with children, in order to work with staff to create an environment that enables them to model and encourage healthy behaviors. Being a highly adaptable and versatile individual, she has enjoyed the opportunity to work with diverse groups of people. This knowledge has helped her blossom into a well-rounded and compassionate individual, who is able to use effective communication in order to reach a common goal.
Elizabeth Urena – Graphic Designer
Elizabeth Urena is a Northern Virginia based illustrator. She recently graduated with a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University. Elizabeth mainly focuses on narrative art using watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, and digital programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Teaching children and young teens educational and motivating lessons is an important factor for Elizabeth to achieve through her work.
Preston Hawks – Graphic Designer
Preston Hawks is an accomplished young artist with a clean graphic style to his artwork ideal for character design, advertising, and mass produced designs. Hawks graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts in May 2015. He is adept in both digital and traditional media from charcoal and acrylic paint to adobe software such as Photoshop or Illustrator. Hawks is dedicated to helping communities and inspiring youth with his artwork..
Tommie Womack – Poet/Story Teller/Speaker/Entrepreneur
Tommie is a masterful poet and storyteller reaching all ages and levels. He is a 20 year army veteran, seasoned professional with a presentation style that is motivational, uplifting, and engaging. He’s an inspirational speaker who empowers the audience with a drive and thought-provoking passion to take action. Tommie’s specialty is personal and professional development. He enjoys the creative mind and working with individuals helping to create their life blueprint. He teaches personal development techniques on enhancing the quality of your life, improving your lifestyle and fulfilling your goals.
Tommie has been a student of personal, professional, development for years. By applying these techniques in his life. It has allowed him to enhance the quality of his life and realized his dreams and goals. Tommie works with youth organization, non-profit, charities and churches inspiring them to be their best. He trains and motivate our new leaders in the local schools. He helps them build their life’s blueprint, confront and overcome obstacles through coaching, training and mentoring. Jeffery Myers – Personal Trainer
Jeffery Myers am currently certified through the World Instructor’s Training School. The training style that I prefer involves free weights and body weight; from my experience I believe this to be the most efficient and effective way to build inner strength. This allows all recruiting muscle groups to develop while improving strength and endurance. Throughout the past two years I have been actively training individuals with in my community, organizing fitness programs and health related events. As a trainer I believe in leading by example, so I began running health related races with in the metropolitan area in order to increase awareness. Ultimately becoming more knowledgeable of the importance of staying active and living well. Due to my training style and experience, I have also developed an understanding of multiple alternatives, with innovation towards helping my clients reach their goals, becoming a step closer towards total fitness.
Rosaline Law – Health Coach
Rosaline D. Law received training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Based in New York City, Integrative Nutrition is the largest nutrition school in the world. The school offers the world’s leading Health Coach Training and teaches over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and cutting-edge coaching methods. Her education has equipped her with extensive knowledge in nutrition, health coaching, and the importance of preventive care. Drawing on her knowledge and experience, she works with clients to assist them in making the dietary and lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
Rosaline has also completed a full course in Professional and Clinical Herbalism from the Mid-Atlantic School of Herbalism & the Smile Herb Shop. This course covered Western, Chinese and Ayuredic Herbalism. Rosaline main interest is to educate on how to use food and herbs for healing.
Heavenly Bodies Live is the name of her primary business. Services provided at the Heavenly Bodies Live Studio include personal training sessions, nutrition classes for children called “The Nutrition Detective”, private and group healthy cooking classes, as well as meal planning sessions. Outside of the studio she provides healthy food shopping field trips, pantry makeovers, and nutritional workshops for teens and adults. Her services also include corporate businesses, private parties, health fairs as well as church workshops and seminars She has conducted many workshops on the subjects “What Does God Say About Your temple”, “Sugar Blues”, “Live More Weigh Less”, and “Eating for Energy”.
Rosaline is also a Certified Licensed Respiratory Therapist. She graduated from the University of the District of Columbia in 1984. Has perfected her practice at local hospitals such as Georgetown University, Greater Southeast Community in Washington DC and most recently before initiating her career as a health coach she was employed at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD.
In March 2011 she became a Licensed Zumba instructor and conducts exciting Zumba Dance Parties all over the DC, Maryland and Virginia communities. Her Zumba Dance Party delivers exercise which is enhanced by an exciting Party atmosphere. She will make you sweat!

Carlos D. Brevard – Personal Trainer
Carlos D. Brevard is a Health and Fitness Coach and a graduate student from Frostburg State University. He received his B.S. in Exercise Sports Science with a concentration in Health and Fitness. As CEO, of Beyond Fitness, LLC Carlos D. Brevard’s, focal point is to demonstrate how life can be enhanced by including health and fitness within your daily routine. Carlos believes that a healthy mindset is the key to achieving and maintaining desired results, and fitness is more than just achieving large biceps, or trim shapely thighs, along with abs of steel, but fitness is a lifestyle. Carlos’ coaching method promotes a physically active lifestyle, while tackling all barriers that stands between having and maintaining a healthy mindset. His plans and services are geared for all who want to achieve their goals that seem to be unattainable and live a healthy lifestyle.
Brenda Leigh Wells – Purpose Coach
Brenda Leigh Wells aka ”Born2Praizz” is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She is a minister, poet, author, entrepreneur, playwright, actress, radio show host and accountant. She began writing poetry as an outlet to cope with daily life and spiritual frustrations. She found that they gave her an emotional release, as well as, internal hope. Her favorite poem that ministers to so many people including those who are incarcerated is entitled “Quitting Is Not An Option…I Choose To Win!” Brenda’s passion and concern for the youth of today motivated her to pen her first book in the series entitled “The Adventures of Pete and Repeat…I Am You-Nique” which was released in October, 2013. It is based on the speech that she enlightened the youth with at their back to school revival in 2011. Her book is currently in animation production and scheduled to be released in June, 2015.
Brenda established her poetic art business “Frame Your World” because of her firm belief in the power of spoken words as instructed in Proverbs 18:21, “Death and Life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit”. She wrote and produced her first Christmas play entitled, “Jesus Is The Reason” which debuted in December, 2011. She is currently working on producing her second play entitled “Secret Pain” which is scheduled for production in the summer of 2016. She is also in the process of releasing her debut CD entitled “It’s Time to Heal!” which includes a dramatic compilation of her original poems, songs and prayers. It is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2016. She was the co-host of the S.H.A.R.E. Broadcast (Spreading Hope and Releasing Empowerment) which aired on Radio One’s Spirit 1400 April-July, 2013 on Saturday mornings.
Brenda has over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry and 13 years in real estate. This experience is the catalyst to her founding “F.E.E.D Fellowship” which is an acronym for “Fueling, Empowering, and Educating for Demonstration”. She loves to help people with their “Stewardship Plan of Action”. She teaches, coaches and provides assistance to individuals enabling them to maximize their potential, achieve their goals and give an account for their stewardship by using the word of God and hands-on knowledge. She is also the co-author of the electronic newsletter “Business Women In The Word” (B.W.I.T.W.) Brenda’s motto in life and encouragement to others is “You are what you think so always think the best of yourself!
Dale Keith – Personal Trainer
Coach Dale is a Maryland native and a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. He was a high school letterman in football and wrestler at South River High School. During his senior year, Coach Dale was captain of the wrestling team and a county champ. He has volunteered for numerous organizations such as Mentoring to Manhood, I-Tell Kid, Smart Fit Kids Academy, and has been a Volunteer Camp Fit personal trainer for 3 seasons. He attended Anne Arundel Community College where he graduated as a member of Phi Theta Kappa honors society, with a 4.0 GPA, and an Associate’s Degree in Health, Fitness, and Exercise. Additionally, he earned a letter of recognition in Personal Training and Nutrition. Dale is now working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, with the goal of combating the growing obesity epidemic.
Melissa Myers – Professional Gymnast
Camp Fit’s own Elastagirl! A professional gymnast, Coach Melissa and her Jeep, blaze the Camp Fit program each year to get the kids limbered up and ready to take on the challenges of the each day. Coach Melissa broke onto the Camp Fit scene in Season 3 with a playful, yet tough, and competitive edge that so many viewers were attracted to. Coach Melissa has a true heart for these kids and wants nothing more than to see them succeed, but she won’t make it easy. She is a force to be reckoned with!!! The kids love her, and you certainly will too!
Kristy Alveraz – Certified Equestrian Trainer
Kristy Alvarez has loved horses ever since she can remember. She still feels like that horse crazy girl from years ago that always thought about horses, but now those thoughts come with a strong purpose. Her desire is to help rescued and unwanted horses in anyway that she can and in return utilize those horses to help people find hope, strength and healing in their lives. Kristy, along with her husband, Daniel, founded Desire Ministries in 2006, a non-profit charitable organization where people help horses and horses help people through various Equine Assisted Activities and Therapy programs. Kristy is certified by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association to conduct Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning. She is also certified by the Certified Horsemanship Association as a horseback riding instructor and she teaches weekly horseback riding lessons at Loftmar Stables.
